MIA (Ruth Vega Fernandez), and FRIDA, (Liv Mjones), are both in their thirties. They meet at the parents' engagement party. Lasse, Mia's dad, is getting married to Elizabeth (Lena Endre), Frida’s mother. This will create Mia and Frida as step-sisters. Lasse's daughter Mia hasn't seen her father for many years. She arrives along with Tim Natterqvist, her boyfriend. Strong emotions start to rise between Frida and Mia as they get to know each other.
