After being rejected by a proposal to marry, Alex is left on his own on an adventure from Los Angeles to Melbourne in Australia. This was meant to be a vacation for him and his fiancee. In mild shock Alex meets Ronnie, a woman who is on her own adventure and takes Alex on a road trip through Australia's Nullarbor Plain. They eventually reach Perth.
