Duk-soo is a boy who sees his destiny change quickly in the chaos caused by the Korean War. He loses touch with his sister in the Korean War and leaves behind his father to search for her. Duk-soo settles in Busan and dedicates his life to his family. He works odd jobs in order to provide support for his father. He is driven to dangerous coal mines in Germany where he finds his first love Youngja. Then he travels to Vietnam to find the truth about his personal sacrifices. CJ Entertainment
