Will (Winston Duke), spends his time in remote post watching live Point of View (POV). He watches people go about their daily lives until one person dies leaving an empty place for new life. Many candidates, unborn souls, arrive soon at Will's for tests to determine their fitness and are subjected to oblivion if they fail. Will is soon confronted with his own existential problem by Emma (Zazie Betetz), who is a free-spirited candidate. This forces him to face his past and make a decision. He discovers an unexpected path to success in his life, and is fueled by that power. After a string of award-winning music videos and highly-acclaimed short films, Edson Oda, Japanese Brazilian director, presents a moving and heartfelt vision of the human spirit in limbo. They long to live against all odds but are hindered and held back by forces beyond their control.
