Shanti Naiduo is typical Type A personality. Shanti Naidoo is always on the go, trying to please everyone and making up for any perceived shortcomings by cooking up an inordinate amount of food in the kitchen. If it weren't for Jennifer Kandasamy, her neighbor, everything would be fine. Jennifer seems to do more than Shanti, and it appears that life is a continuous battle to keep up the Kandasamys. Jennifer is determined to end the relationship between her daughter Jodi and Shanti's son Prishen. To do this, she'll need to get the help of her rival. Shanti initially refuses to answer the question, but soon they realize they are forced to do so. They don't need to be close to each other. The two women conspire, plan and recruit potential partners to interfere with their children's lives whenever they can. The big mystery behind the tension that exists between these neighbors who used to be close friends in high school is what is it? These meddling mothers can they find a solution to their problems and unify their families? Through rib-tickling comedy, a host of colourful characters bring life to the story. --Helena Spring
