I think the film letting the cat out of the bag on the monster's twist in the description of the movie kinda made it less cool to watch be revealed.I feel like if I went into it not knowing that twist, it would have been way more suspenseful.That said, it was great! The characters were well-written and I liked that it didn't fall into tropes. The monster is just scary enough looking without being too much for a young kid, and the positive ending was a relief. There are a couple ASMR scenes that I personally am not keen on ASMR but they are short.Sara Wolfkind was fantastic as Asha, and the brother-sister-isms between her and Callan Farris are spot on.I rated it 7/10.
