This is a movie every Irish woman needs to go see. It shines a light on issues a lot of people in Ireland are too afraid to talk about. I think this movie will help break the cycle of our patriarchal society. Emily Watson did an outstanding performance portraying a troubled mother, while Paul Mescal brilliantly portrayed a son gone wrong. As an Irish person, it was such an honour seeing our beautiful country on the big screen. The scenery was raw, wild and breathtaking. I hope my family and friends back home get the chance to see this movie in the cinema. It is a movie that should be on everyone's list.
