In 1942 at the height of World War II the brave Wing Commander Max Vatan flies to Morocco's desert dunes in order to make contact with Marianne Beausejour, a Parisian member the French Resistance. Max and Marianne escape Casablanca to start a family. However, their relationship is already complicated by suspicion and distrust. Max gets a shock call from the Secret Service Division after trying to kill an unidentified target in a suicide mission. Max must overcome his disbelief and be faced with a difficult task. He is also confronted by a dire dilemma. Who will live or die in the midst of duty and love? --Nick Riganas
